We're proud to be able to call America home since 1995 when our manufacturing and parts operations started with a facility in California. Since then we've grown and expanded across the country - Take a look at our major milestones in the U.S.A.

OUR HISTORY IN THE U.S.A.

1995 Hino Motors International, Inc., a subsidiary of Hino Motors, Ltd. (Japan) begins operations in California as a parts distribution center for Latin American and Caribbean Hino Truck distributors.

 

 

2003 Hino Motors International, Inc. becomes Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2004 Hino begins manufacturing axles and related parts for the Toyota Tacoma in Ontario, California.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hino begins production of medium-duty trucks at TABC (Toyota) in Long Beach, California.

 

2005 Hino establishes its corporate headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2006 Hino begins manufacturing axles and suspension components for the Toyota Tundra in Marion, Arkansas.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2007 Hino begins medium-duty truck production in Williamstown, West Virginia.

Hino begins manufacturing suspension components for the Toyota Sequoia at its Marion, Arkansas facility.

 

 

2008 Hino ends medium-duty truck production at TABC.

 

 

2009 Hino Arkansas begins manufacturing connecting rods for Hino brand diesel engines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2010 Hino Arkansas begins manufacturing frame side rails for Hino medium-duty trucks.

 

 

2012 All Hino manufacturing facilities are ISO 14001 certified (CA Plant; September 2007, AR Plant; April 2011, WV Plant; January 2012).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2015 New Custom Paint Shop offering factory paint in any color opens at the West Virginia plant in Williamstown.

In August of 2019, after outgrowing our Williamstown plant, we invested $100MM and moved manufacturing to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Mineral Wells, WV.  With over 470 employees and growing we're able to increase our capacity here for many years to come.
